What violin music and violin players who have played violin in movies or film tracks inspire you the most? For myself, some are the Wizard of Oz and Star Wars – how about you?

I love the music from Schindler’s List. Haven’t yet found the music or tried to play it by ear. Dianne posted a link to Itzhak Pearlman playing it on one of the forum threads. Simply beautiful!

Strange, but I love the bit in HBO’s new (and short) series ‘The Night Of’ intro.

If I had to choose one movie I’d probably say my most favorite is all of the violin pieces from “The Lord of the Rings.” When I hear it, I just feel like I can do anything!

I really like the way Johannes Brahms Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77 – (III. Allegro giocoso) was used in the movie There Will Be Blood.

The music from Your Lie in April, Lord of the Rings, Sherlock (BBC, the recent one), Memoirs of a Geisha, etc. 😀 It’s all inspiring, really.
