I like classical music and current popular tunes to listen to, but often find it fun to play fiddle tunes. My needing to develop a better vibrato plays a part in my dissatisfaction with the sounds I make with a lot of classical music. The fiddle tunes don’t suffer as much from the vibrato!

I love the oldies (60’s) and classical. I also like old-time fiddle music.

I’m also finding it varries somewhat with my mood what I enjoy playing or listening to. I remember that my mother used to say that she could tell my dad’s mood by the music he played. “Music is what feelings sound like.”
