I’m sure I’m not alone here, the first song I learned was Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star(who you callin’ little?). That was even before I started the Suzuki method. I’d be curious to learn what song other started out with?

Twinkle was also my first identifiable song, though I first just practiced with open strings and parts of the scale. I first started back before digital tuners were common, so I used the Twinkle interval to help me tune the strings!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star was my first as well. My first little jingle was playing Mississippi Hot Dog on open strings.

Mary had a Little Lamb for me. It’s the first song I’ve sounded out on every instrument I’ve started on. XD

I was learning the viola in grade 5 / 6. The first song was Mary had a little lamb and Twinkle Twinkle. I think my favourite was The Merry Widows Waltz. It was a long time ago, 1970-72.

Probably Hot Cross Buns or Twinkle. It was in 1965.
