Well, I’ve never had a violin teacher, so I have picked up bad habits that are not easy to brake. Some of them include straight bowing, position shifting, and playing REALLY fast parts, which includes sight-reading.

I live in a small town that has a community orchestra, but I prefer to play in a couple of symphonies that are a total of 4 hours round trip to get there. I also take lessons a couple hours away. That’s why I appreciate Violin Tutor Pro. For people that live in the hinterlands because of a job, on-line lessons are a blessing.

It’s 12:30am and I want to play. Do I put the mute on and risk waking people up or do I just wait until the morning? Hmmm… Decisions… 🙂

I have trouble with performing. I find it so terrifying to play in front of other people, I feel like I sometimes want to throw up.
