I have been tokd repeatedly by every music teacher who has worked with me that I have a very good ear for intonation, Still, I am frustrated because I notice that when I am playing I think I am in tune, but later when I review the recording it is obvious that I was iut of tune, Why is it easier to hear my failty intonation when I listen to a recording than when I listen while I am playing? I have the most trouble with c# in first position on the A string and G in first position on the D string,

What can I do to develop a keener awareness of my own intonation as I am olaying?
