Hello out there from Bad Axe, Michigan! My name is Emi. I’m 25, and I’m getting back in to my stringed life after a 7..ish… year hiatus. I began playing the violin in 2001 and played regularly and passionately until 2006, when I took up the double bass. The violin and bass both held a high place in my daily routine until 2008, when among other things, my dad died. I lost my passion for just about everything then, and it has taken me a while to get back my bearings. But I’m back up and running now, and so excited to take some classes here to get my groove back. Peace and love to all of you! -Emi-

Welcome to the community! I’m also from Michigan (Grand Rapids area). Maybe sometime you can come by and take a lesson from me! I’m the owner of the site by the way just in case you didn’t know. 🙂 Wish you luck browsing the site and getting back into things!

Hi, Michael! I’d love to come out for a lesson some time! 😀 I’m excited to get my playing up and going again. My church’s Praise and Worship team is doing some TSO stuff, and I’m eager to get at it!!

    Hello Emi!
I offer my condolences about your father’s passing. I’m sure that must be the roughest thing. I’m glad to see you here though, rediscovering your passion. I’m here for a similar purpose!
