With 3 daughters on string instruments (2 on violin and 1 on viola), all at different skill levels and abilities- this would be a GREAT thrill for my youngest (age 12) to have as she will be joining a more advanced youth orchestra this fall- so our fingers are ALL crossed for her!!! ☺️March 26, 2016 at 3:44 am #14675

Ooooooo! I want it to be meeeeeee!March 26, 2016 at 4:21 pm #14679
I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to win this instrument. I need a source of motivation to recover and improve upon my skills. I used to be able to play for hours and perform effortlessly. I am having a difficult time coming to terms with the changes that have taken place and fear that I will be forever stuck in this condition. I currently use the violin my parents purchased over 40 years ago, with no knowledge of how to determine if it was a quality instrument… They bough what they could afford and I will always be grateful for that. I find myself reluctant to practice and often depressed; that said, when I do practice/perform, it is SO therapeutic for me, even though my endurance has waned.
I know each of us has needs and reasons for wanting to win the contest and wish everyone else the best of luck!March 26, 2016 at 4:29 pm #14680
