Due to a bad back. I have to set with a chair that holds my back up fully. at this time this is a recliner. feet up as it is less of a strain.

But this puts my bow length and draw at a disadvantage. I have tried setting on edge of chairs like recommended but can only hold that for about 5 minutes before my back begins to scream in pain.

So my question is as stated. other than not having as much bow time how much of a difference would a short bow have on sound on a 4/4 violin. or should I just not worry that I cant pull the bow to the tip due to my infirmaries.
