    Yes I have, it was one of the first things that my fiddle teacher taught me and boy am I glad that he did because it takes a lot of practice to et it fluid but sounds so good when you “get it”.

    Hokum bowing helps work on bow control, string change, clarity of notes, and other good stuff. There are loads of videos on youtube demonstrating the technique. Start off slow, get the timing and smooth bowing, and gradually pick up the tempo, but you can’t rush it.

    Yes. I use it all the time! Especially in Orange Blossom Special, Rubber Dolly, Back up And Push, and Cotton patch Rag.
    It’s best to practice it very SLOW when you are first learning it.
