    My name is Linda!

I have played the violin since the age of 10 and am in the middle of finishing my PhD in English Literature. I don’t have a much time as I would like for my violin; however, I enjoy playing in my church and still practice my three octave scales as often as possible! I want to improve my skills as much as possible even though I teach classes and spend much time reading and writing. I love the violin and classical music and miss playing in an orchestra! I hope to find a place to turn for assistance!

    Hi Linda!

I am happy to give you all the assistance I can. Just leave a video or question for me here on the forum and I will reply as soon as I am able. I have been teaching students of all ages for 35+ years. I am semi-retired now and although I used to teach up to 45 students at one time, I am very selective now and only teach a few. I have a Master’s Degree in Music Education. I played in a professional symphony for about 10 years before I started my family and moved back to my home state of West Virginia. All that said to give you a little confidence in my credentials and experiences. I know a lot of professionals who play violin as a hobby on the side. This, I feel, is wonderful, because it helps with relaxation and stress and music is such an endless journey. I hope to see you around!
