I’m a retired Aerospace Machinist. I worked way too many hours in my career of over 40yrs but I still found time to learn to play the Guitar, piano, ukulele, and harmonica, all while working 10-12 hr days, 6 days a week, and raising my family. I am 60yrs old, and now I have all this free time to learn how to play all these instruments even better and become a better musician. Also, I can do something I always wanted to do, learn to play the Violin too! I have been trying to learn the violin for almost a year now and I was struggling a little. I came across Michael’s website and signed up for his webinar classes that he offered for free for the first month. What was there to lose? I liked it so much that I joined and here I am 🙂

Hi David and welcome to the VTP forum!

Wow, you know a lot of instruments. I would love to learn the piano some day, but for now the violin keeps me very busy!! You will learn a lot from Michael’s site.

I guess some people retire and spend a lot of time fishing, playing golf, painting, I love to play music. I never was very good at any instrument I played but now that I have more time to devote to it I’m getting a lot better. Michael was impressed by my site-reading and how far I came to learning the violin, basically on my own. I just got to a point in my playing violin where I was stuck. Michael corrected, and still keeps on me about my bow arm, and left hand fingering. I’ve learned so much in just over a month that I’ve been in his class.

We made parts for the military F16, to the new 787. . The list goes on and on. Some of our customers were Boeing, Lockeed, Airbus, etc.
