Hi, I’m a music player, author and teacher in the eastern panhandle of “Wild and Wonderful West Virginia”. Lot of devastation in parts of the state due to the recent flooding, we were blessed to escape the floods in this area. If you live in this area and are interested in learning or playing, please send a msg.

    Hello b4reich,
Very nice to meet you and I also live in WV as well but I wasn’t affected by the floods. My heart goes out to all those who were and were affected by the events. I have had poetry published in a college journal and two other magazines. I also have a preschool teaching license to work with children, but I then started working with special needs children. At the time I had just found out that my oldest son was special needs, so I dropped everything and devoted my time to him. I have currently went back to college to go into social science research of mental disorders to write research to help find better treatments and hopefully cures. I have a major respect for teachers and welcome to the forum.

    Tally78,
Yes, we were very fortunate to escape the destruction so much of WV experienced! So many people without homes, food… just terrible!

Thanks Emily. Are you a Mountaineer too? If so, I hope you and your family escaped the flooding problems!
