A lot of my cello students lean onto their pinky instead of the first finger. I adjust the bow hold but most of the revert to the incorrect hold in a matter of minutes. What can I do to help them?

Have you ever used a bow “seat belt”? The 2 minute video (link below) explains how to easily wrap a rubber band around the frog, then have the student slip the correct finger under the band. It works great and helped me when after years of playing violin. I started playing cello as well.
