Does anyone have any suggestions for some good bluegrass tunes? Its one of my favourite genres to play on fiddle, and I am eager to learn more about it.

The Devil’s Dream Hoedown is the first bluegrass/fiddle piece that i learned. It’s pretty simple and great fun.

Some of my favorites to play are Jerusalem Ridge, Bluegrass in the Backwoods, Sally Goodin, Dusty Miller, and Say Old Man Can You Play The Fiddle. Have fun!

“Backup and Push” is a great tune to learn. It will help master several techniques you’ll need to play bluegrass music.
