My biggest fear is acquiring bad habits in the beginning. There is too much scattered out there on the internet for anyone to see, but I know that I need some type of structure to move forward. I found that violin tutor isn excellent resource for that.

I started learning in August and I love it.
I regret not having done it earlier!

Hello. Have completed 6 lessons so far through Skype and lots of watching videos from here. Wow I’m glad I started but wish I had started before 49.
Are others using Suzuki as adults? How long does it take you on the first songs to learn?
    Feels like slow sometimes.

I’m 38 and started learning this past April. It’s been tough but well worth it. I too wish I had started a lot younger.

I’ve had violin lessons for about four years when I was a kid, and then I quit playing for like 5 years. Half a year ago I decided to buy my own violin and start playing again, best decision of my life! I’ve been self-teaching ever since, and this site is an amazing help! I’m 20 now and still learning, but I’m glad I know all the basics tho
