As a violin instructor, I am always sympathetic to adult students. They are almost always doing for others and have little time for themselves. This usually means less structured practice routines. It’s always good to be persistent though! If you are a parent of a violin student, you will have a better understanding of what your child’s experience is in violin study. You will also have the chance to set a good example for children who are not self-motivated to practice. Keep up the good work!
