Hey Belinda. Creating flash cards is a great idea! I always encourage students to do that if they struggle to read music. I suggest having the note on the staff on one side, and the letter of the note on the back. Another helpful thing you can do is also have the string/finger you would use for that note. So in the case of a “G”, you would also try to memorize that it is a “D3.” Knowing both of these are very helpful and compliment each other nicely.
