I agree. The way he explained holding your hand in the most relaxed position helped me also. My most difficult obstacle has, so far, been proper bowing (I wasn’t ever using long bow/whole bow strokes). I started holding the bow wrong when I started focusing on my bowing skills. So frustrating. However, I finally have been relaxing and improving. My husband ordered me a new bow and I’m so excited, but a little scared to use it. 😀 My teacher kept talking about how a quality bow could make such a difference….I thought maybe she was hinting that I needed a new bow. My current one is really old, so I think it will be great to use this new one. I hope it is nice. I don’t know much about name brands, but it seemed to be a good quality bow sold by DZ Strad.
