Hi, Mr. Michael! I have recently picked up violin playing again. Either today or yesterday, I noticed that when I play a slow song on my violin, I sound very squeaky, shaky, and am prone to hitting other strings when I’m not on them. When I get to a faster song or part in the song, it sounds fine. I don’t think my former violin teacher ever taught me how to correct it. My question is, how do I not sound squeaky and shaky when I’m playing a slow song? Also, how do I keep from accidentally hitting the other strings when I’m not on them?
