I’d like to add a bow care question to this conversation, if I may!

When tightening/loosening my bow, I often notice that rosin has found its way to the stick portion of the bow. How detrimental is this to the stick? What effects can it have? Should I clean it with the microfiber cloth that I use for cleaning my strings?

Also, how can I avoid such a thing? I don’t know if it happens during playing, loosening, or when I put rosin onto the bow. I tighten my strings before applying rosin, if that matters.
