Four months later I’ve found that I recognize some of the Wohlfhart etudes and enjoy practicing them, feeling a sense of accomplishment, although progress has been slower than I’d hoped. Listening to violin music more has helped me recognize what I like and detach certain music from old painful memories. Haven’t had the energy to practice as regularly as I’d hoped, only 3-4 times a week 30-45 min at a time, usually. Michael is right. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
