I try to get in an hour of practice every day. I used to practice three hours at a time, but I am not able to do that now. When I have time I start with scales (Carl Flesch), and then move to etudes, usually Kreutzer, and then practice whatever pieces I’m working on. Right now I’m learning the Largo movement from the Bach Double for a performance next year. I’m also still trying to learn the Bach Chaconne, although that’s more for the experience and the skills than anything else. I cant see myself playing that any time soon!
