A quick google search brings up colophony allergy. It’s a reaction to pine sap, and unfortunately pine sap is a key ingredient for violin rosins. If this is really your problem, you should wipe down your violin, strings and bow to get rid of the old rosin. I’d also vacuum your case and wash your towel/rag.

In addition to your Clarity rosin, I found a couple articles that mention Geipel Synthetic Rosin, and they say it’s pretty decent. I have not used it, so I can’t speak to that.
