My violin was made in Germany during WWII. It was my uncle’s, but passed on to me after he died because I expressed an interest in learning violin. It was many years before I had the money to have it “set up” as it needed new strings and bridge.. I also needed a new bow. I was not satisfied with the sound, and tried new strings, which helped. In the last year I have purchased a better bow. Now if only I could find time to play it….
