I inherited a violin from my Mom after she passed away over two years ago. It was a Wilhelm Eberle in the Stradivarius style, made in East Germany. I had it upgraded by a local luthier with a new chinrest and shoulder rest. The luthier played it briefly and was very impressed with the sound and only recommended that I get a better bow. I myself find it has good projection and cosmetically it looks like new. I’m very happy with the instrument overall although I wouldn’t rule out eventually upgrading to a Ming Jhiang Zhu. I’m very impressed with this line of instruments!!
