Hi, Diaane. Thank you for the feedback. I am recovering still from a car accident in October which left me with a crushed left hand, (had four pins in it until December), and a broken rib on my right side. My main concern had been regarding the use of my left pinky, which I think I have overcome. I am aware of the issues you mentioned. My goal was to just to try and showcase the instrument a bit-which I hope with produce a better tone after using it awhile and adjusting settings on the amplifier. This was also the first time I used the Everest shoulder rest. Perhaps that contributed to the right arm height? I will try the piece again with my acoustic violin and incorporate your very helpful suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to view and review my post!
