How long does it take to learn to play the violin?
Normally the first 1-2 months of learning the violin are the toughest to get through, as you have to learn the basic fundamental concepts. Because the violin is a fretless instrument, and has so many variables of technique, it certainly will take some time and patience to get through this time period. Normally after 2 months, you should be pretty comfortable with the fundamentals, and start being able to fly through the material. Our lessons guide you through this process, and make sure you don't build any bad habits!
